This bloody recipe is my most requested drink. I have never made one of these that people didn't really enjoy. I don't know the exact measurements of the ingredients but have approximated.
Here goes:
Fill a pint glass with ice.
Add:
pinch of Horseradish 12 'shakes' of Worcestershire Sauce 3 'shakes' of Tobasco 1/2 TB of celery salt
Mix in:
2 shots of vodka (our pourers are approximately 1 1/4 shots so that's what I use.)
Fill with tomato juice leaving a 1/2 inch collar.
Garnish with 1 pickle spear, 2 olives/mushrooms and a lemon wedge. Sprinkle lightly with celery salt and serve with a small tapper of beer as a chaser.
STIR the darn thing. I don't care how many people say that they like to stir their own but trust me, a straw just will not do the job here. And they won't really get the full flavor if it's not stirred.
For presentation you may use a shaker but to me that's just a waste of time and something else that needs to be washed.
Some people like a little pickle juice in their bloodies as well. Others like a little bit of Guinness on tap for body.
Other garnishes I like to use (but don't normally have available) are celery stalks, pickled brussels sprouts and small chunks of PepperJack cheese.
